  • Unloads inbound shipments and moves product to storage locations using a forklift.
  • Efficiently stocks and stores materials in appropriate areas.
  • Pulls and prepares product for production and shipment.

Requirements:
  • 1 to 3 years of recent inventory control or warehouse experience, along with forklift operating experience.
  • Effective and efficient English communication skills required to communicate efficiently within all levels of a team environment via two-way radio, email and in person.
  • Must be able to drive and operate a forklift and pass the Sabre forklift certification, including the vision requirements: Distant Vision: must be 20/40 or greater corrected or uncorrected in each eye. Near Vision: must be J2 or better corrected or uncorrected, 12 inches from face in each eye. Depth Perception: must be at less than 50 seconds of arc or greater than 60% Shepard Fry in each eye.
  • Must possess the ability to comply with safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Candidates must also contribute to safety and quality control standards.
  • Position requires work in a plant/manufacturing environment. Required PPE includes safety glasses, steel-toe metatarsal boots and hearing protection worn at all time on the production floor in addition to other specific PPE that must be work for specific tasks.
  • Environment may include fluctuations in temperature, dust and noise.
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions including heat and cold.
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds

Visual Inspector

IT Systems Engineer

Sioux City, IA

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for day to day administration of various systems and applications in the Sabre Datacenters.
  • Helpdesk support of everyday PC support issues.
  • Maintains network and supporting systems, Exchange server administration, daily backups and disaster recovery.
  • Maintains user account information (rights, security and system groups).
  • Installs new software applications or hardware, coordinating assistance from third parties when necessary.
  • Monitors and evaluates efficiency of software/hardware usage.
  • Maintains an adequate level of knowledge of operating system and application software being used to provide high levels of support to users.
  • Administers Active Directory, Exchange, VMWare & Storage systems.
  • Monitors and reports licenses on applications to ensure compliance.

Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience administrating windows servers and systems in a datacenter environment
  • Must have experience in the administration of Microsoft Active Directory: Permissions, security, Group Management/creation, etc…
  • Must have experience with the Windows Server Platform (2008 -2012) and Windows 7 and 2012 workstation.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Exchange or Office 365.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 - 2013 is a plus but not required

Responsibilities:

  • 4.Monitors movement of truckload and LTL shipments for all carriers to actual delivery date of finished product.
  • 5.Acquires rate quotes for all types of shipments upon request of all departments, locations and customers.
  • 6.Communicates and administers any problems or circumstances which may cause delay in pickup or delivery of Sabre product to all departments, locations, customers and carriers affected.
  • 7.Maintains, completes and files all OS&D claims with all LTL carriers and ensures time deadlines are met and any detention charges, carrier issues are handled in a timely manner.
  • 8.Assists in development and execution of department procedures, strives for improvement in transportation services to find most practical, economical and cost effective manner to help gain sale of specific job.

Requirements:
  • 2 years recent related experience working in steel manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Audits all materials to be processed for orders.

Requirements:
  • 1-3 years recent experience working in a warehouse environment, including experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment desired.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively in English within all levels of a team environment.
  • Must have strong attention to detail and be able to multi-task in a fast paced work environment.
  • Must be able to accurately read and interpret shipping schedules and a tape measure within +/- 1/32".

Warehouse Lead -Nights

Sioux City, IA

Responsibilities:
  • 1.Assists and directs warehouse personnel by having complete knowledge of all warehouse procedures and maintains & efficiently leads the warehouse.
  • 2.Directs the bundling, staging and loading of items for shipments in a safe and organized manner at all times from warehouse personnel on to trucks and in to shipping containers.
  • 3.Reconciles and performs weekly cycle count of inventory materials to ensure inventory accuracy, and helps conduct annual physical inventory counts.
  • 4.Conducts shipping and receiving processes and procedures as required.
  • 5.Researches missing parts to find current locations.
  • 6.Processes customer orders, pulls materials, and oversees packing and shipping of customer orders.
  • 7.Ensures quality of all shipping items by verifying and identifying information and quality/condition of items.
  • 8.Documents all shipments in accordance to shipping and Epicor procedures.
  • 9.Maintains and reviews all Shipping Schedules and Shipping Reports in Epicor.
  • 10.Processes warehouse paperwork and shipment photos.
  • 11.Communicates the status and/or issues on shipments to other departments.
  • 12.Maintains driver's departure times in the Transportation Management System.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of recent warehouse experience, preferably in a in a warehouse/shipping environment
  • Previous supervisory or lead experience
  • Experience operating an all-terrain forklift of 15,000# or more is desired.
  • 1 year or more years recent relevant experience in any ERP system is preferred
  • Working knowledge Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as Epicor is a plus.
  • Must be able to demonstrate accuracy of work, good organization skills as well as the ability to work as a team player.

              Welder (mig)

              Sioux City, IA

              Responsibilities:
              • Manually positions pole assembly in pole rollers into proper position for welding.
              • Reads and interprets drawings (including weld symbols) and specifications to determine proper location of attachments, as well as weld size and configuration.
              • Adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides feet, inches, fractions, and decimals. Uses tables to convert fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions
              • Adjusts welding machines to achieve desired results within parameters of established welding procedures. Frequently pushes pulls and lifts up to 50 pounds.
              • Uses oxy-fuel torch to pre-heat parts to be welded in accordance with published welding codes and specifications
              • Uses GMAC or FCAW welding process to weld small components or assemblies in 1G and 2F positions
              • Wears protective equipment, including safety glasses, insulated welding gloves, leather sleeves and/or cape and welding hood
              • Works in confined areas at various locations on the small pole assembly line as necessary to weld components described above
              • Uses chipping hammer, wire brush, motorized grinders, and motorized wire brush at various times to clean welded areas.
              • Uses pneumatic drills and magnetic drills to drill carious size holes on pole assembly as required by drawings and specifications
              • Visually inspects his/her work to identify material discrepancies and to ensure that welds have been completed satisfactorily in compliance with applicable drawings and specifications.
              • Uses overhead cranes to transport and move material. Overhead crane training will be required.
              • Uses a weld gauge to measure weld size, standard and metric
              • Reads and interprets work orders and daily production schedules.
              • Corrects labor reporting in MES system to ensure operations are complete.
              • Assists fitter in assembling pole assembly when needed. Uses measuring tape, level, square and angle finder to measure distances and angles
              • Uses oxy-fuel cutting torch and plasma-arc torch for cutting steel.
              • Operates assembly line cart system to move tubular shafts into position for cutting on band saw and for fitting. Operates band saw for cutting tubular shafts according to specifications.
